Support for Microsoft SQL in Amazon Web Services RDS (Relational Database Service)

  • More and more organizations are moving services to the cloud and often do so in a hybrid fashion; that includes managed file transfer. With MOVEit 2022.1, users can deploy their Microsoft SQL database for MOVEit Transfer or MOVEit Automation using the Amazon Web Services Relational Database Service. This enhancement will enable organizations to offload the management of the MOVEit Transfer or MOVEit Automation database to the AWS public cloud, so they don’t have to worry about maintaining underlying operating system, security patches, or backups for the database. The result is a managed file transfer solution that is more flexible, scalable, and resilient than ever.

Improved Ad Hoc User Experience

  • The Ad Hoc module of MOVEit managed file transfer now offers an improved user experience, making it easier than ever to move files intuitively and quickly -- especially for MOVEit managed file transfer users who only occasionally need to send files securely. This is available as an additional component for use with MOVEit Transfer and MOVEit Cloud.

Advanced Tasks Improvements in MOVEit Automation

  • MOVEit Automation offers two new Advanced Tasks features to improve troubleshooting and workflow creation, without the need for coding. First, steps can now be individually disabled so you can try out different options in your task without needing to clone an extra development task. It also is useful to temporarily disable step(s) that you would like to not execute for operational reasons. Second, you can add comments to each step in the workflow, so you can remember why a step was added, when, and by whom. These two features are available with the Tier 3, or Enterprise Edition of MOVEit Automation.

Impressive Global Language Support

  • The MOVEit Add-in for Microsoft Outlook provides multi-language support for the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Traditional or Simplified Chinese.

Yes. Only customers on active service agreements are able to upgrade to MOVEit 2022.1. Customers without an active support agreement  should contact their sales representative  or local reseller about reinstating their support agreement.

All users with an active support contract will be given upgrade access to MOVEit 2022.1.
